Mr. Nand Lal state election commissioner, sent for two days to Arthur road jail for contempt to privilege committe of Maharashtra Assembly and released next morning was a mockery of democracy and now matter goes to High Court before Chief Justice.

This speaks of ego and prestige issues in right instead and fall out will have impact upon election. It was a case of legislative against beaurocarcy.
